What should you bring?

  • Medical records – If Fluffy is a new patient or has been to another vet since your last visit, please bring any medical records that you have from the other vet office. If you do not have the records, call ahead of time so that we can get the records transferred in time for your visit.

  • A stool sample – If your cat is coming in for an annual exam or tummy issues, it is likely that we will need to send out a fecal sample to the lab. This looks for intestinal parasites that can be passed on to your human family and other pets.
    • It is ok if there is some litter on it. If you have multiple cats, try to separate them for a few hours to make sure that you know which of your cats left you a kitty nugget! The sample should be collected within 24 hours and kept in the fridge.

  • Prescriptions – If your cat is on any medications or supplements, you can either bring them in or have a list on-hand. You should know what your cat is taking, the dosage and how often she is taking it.
